Teknicom is a technical service based company in Lucedale, MS, located about an hour from the Mississippi Gulf-Coast, and Mobile, AL. Teknicom was formed by owner and operator, Richard Hoven. Richard has nearly two decades of experience in progressive technology. Before coming in to the technology field, Richard grew up as a musician. Richard's experience as a musician and sound technician, has given him a unique advantage to be able to help establishments like houses of worship, by understanding their needs and challenges. Richard's experience in the technology field has given him the ability to provide technical services to businesses whether they need computer services, networking services, or tv's and projection equipment services. Richard's wife Sarah, owns and operates the business, Elizabeth James Photography. As Richard and Sarah have experienced building and operating a small business of their own prior to opening Teknicom, this has given them important insights with how challenging it can be running and operating a small business. This experience has given Richard the ability to see the needs of small businesses, in effort to give them a quality product and service, while keeping a close eye on budgeting. Richard currently lives in Lucedale, MS, with his wife Sarah, and son Westyn. Richard's goal and dream is for Teknicom to evolve in to a family operated business so that their family can work together as a team.
